It was awarded the Anna Hyatt Huntington Bronze Medal of Honor for Watercolors.

Skating on the Frog Pond was selected to hang at the St. Botolph Club as part of the Copley Society of Arts Master’s Exhibit.

The painting was honored with the Exceptional Merit Award.




June 2006

Beacon Hill Doorway received a Merit Award in the 27th International Juried Exhibit of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society. 

Juror of Awards, Chris Krupinski, said of this painting: “One would think that by using brilliant blue for the door on the right side of the painting that the composition would be really off, but she enters blue on the ground on the left and on the brick just subtly enough to balance the door.  The blue door gives the painting such a nice feeling.  Everything is nice about this piece.”
