Beacon Hill Doorway
received a Merit Award in the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society 27th International Juried Exhibit. The exhibit was juried by Tom Sgouros. Juror of Awards, Chris Krupinski, said of this painting: “One would think that by using brilliant blue for the door on the right side of the painting that the composition would be really off, but she enters blue on the ground on the left and on the brick just subtly enough to balance the door. The blue door gives the painting such a nice feeling. Everything is nice about this piece.”
