Classes

*Classes are in-person with proof of vaccination and masks worn in class.*
Watercolor classes in my studio are for advanced, intermediate and beginning watercolor painters. My goal is to have each participant reach a point of competency where they can paint in a manner that is natural to them, however I do partial demos when they can be informative. Usually I follow through a particular thought process/subject matter with a number of projects by setting up the concepts and letting each person work through them according to their own creative ideas and at their own level. We cover a variety of subjects, all the while not forgetting about the basics of composition, color, techniques, etc. I find that beginners learn a great deal from watching more advanced painters around them and share ideas with them.
If you would like to talk with me further, please feel free to call or email. While I am now a professional artist, my background was originally in art education, so I approach my classes with objectives always in mind.
Classes are on Monday evening (7:30—10:00 pm), Tuesday morning (9:30—noon), and Tuesday afternoon (1:00—3:30 pm) at my studio in West Cummings Park, Woburn Ma. The address is 500 West Cummings Park, Suite 1050; Woburn MA 01801. (Across from Staples on Washington Street.) They run from September until mid-May on a continuous basis.
